What is startling about L'Ombre dans L'Eau is its three-layer fragrance structure. On first impression, the key note is the sweetness of blackcurrant, endowing the scent with a ripe fruitiness that smells good enough to eat! This gives way to the heavier, sophisticated opulence of Bulgarian rose and a more floral aroma. The final element is a leafy greeness, which adds a natural tone, undercutting the richer notes with a sharp freshness.

Because the entire fig tree is used in the making of Philosykos, there is more to the fragrance than the sweet fruitiness of the fig. The leaves and the blossom provide a green fresh hint, which is further rounded out with a woody note from white cedar.
